Shannon has always lead a healthy, active lifestyle from a very early age. A Philadelphia native, she grew up taking ballet and figure skating, transitioning into sports in high school. After running track as a sprinter in college, she decided to become a certified group fitness instructor.
Over the past 17 years, Shannon has taught strength training, kickboxing and indoor cycling. She enjoys teaching and helping people reach their fitness goals. She is also an avid runner, completing five full marathons and dozens of half marathons.
When she is not teaching or working out, Shannon works as a microbiologist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Outside of work and the gym, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two pets, dog Comet and cat Sammy.Attend a class
